Welcome to the Company App section of FAST Graphs, your ultimate tool for in-depth financial analysis and stock performance evaluation. This section provides comprehensive insights into a company's historical data, performance metrics, forecasting capabilities, and financial health. Below is an overview of each feature within the Company App:

Historical Graph

The Historical Graph offers a visual representation of a company's performance over time, highlighting key metrics such as price, earnings, and dividends. Key features include:

  • Price, Earnings, and Dividends: Visualize past performance trends and make informed decisions based on historical data.

  • Dividend Payout Ratios, Yield, and Estimates: Evaluate a company’s dividend distribution and future performance estimates.

  • Performance Calculations: Perform detailed performance calculations by selecting different timeframes, which allows for a custom analysis of investment returns.

Performance Section

This section provides a detailed analysis of a stock's performance over a selected timeframe, divided into three parts:

  • Comparison Chart:

    • Cumulative Change Chart: Illustrates cumulative changes in stock price and valuation.

    • Valuation Comparison Chart: Displays the PE ratio against fair value over time, helping to assess a stock’s valuation.

  • Performance Results:

    • Summary Information: Includes beginning and ending prices, invested amount, and shares.

    • Performance Table: Details capital growth, total dividends, and annualized rate of return.

  • Dividend Cash Flow:

    • Detailed Table: Shows dividends paid, record dates, payout ratios, and yield on cost, giving a clear picture of income potential from dividends.

Forecasting

The Forecasting tab includes five calculators designed to project future performance based on historical data and analyst estimates:

  1. Estimates Calculator: Default option that displays up to three years of estimates, using various valuation lines.

  2. Normal Multiple Calculator: Uses historical Normal PE for valuation, displaying estimates up to three years.

  3. LT Growth Calculator: Shows long-term growth estimates from analysts for up to five years.

  4. Historical CAGR Calculator: Utilizes a company’s historical compound annual growth rate for future performance projections.

  5. Custom Calculator: Allows for personalized scenarios with custom estimates, blending trendline estimates with individual estimates for a varied outlook.

Analyst Scorecard

The Analyst Scorecard evaluates the accuracy of analyst estimates by comparing actual results with forecasts made one and two years prior:

  • Estimate Categories: Hits, beats, and misses, categorized based on the accuracy of the estimates.

  • 1-Year and 2-Year Scorecards: Compare estimates with actual results over one and two years, respectively, providing insight into a company's predictability.

  • Visual Summaries: Pie charts showing the percentage of hits, beats, and misses offer a quick visual reference to analyst accuracy.

FUN Graphs

FUN (Financial Underlying Numbers) Graphs provide a detailed analysis of a company’s financial health:

  • Per Share Graph: Displays financial statement items on a per-share basis for a clear understanding of individual share value.

  • In Millions Graph: Shows the same financial data in millions for a broader view.

  • Ratios Graph: Analyzes key financial ratios such as liquidity and profitability, helping assess the financial stability of a company.

  • Graph Features: Capable of displaying up to 20 years of historical data or the last 8 quarters, with options to toggle between absolute values and growth rates for comprehensive analysis.

Each of these features within the Company App is designed to equip you with the necessary tools to make informed investment decisions and thoroughly analyze a company's performance and prospects.
