Transaction Tracking

With portfolios, you can add transactions to perform basic buy/sell transaction tracking. When you add transactions, buy/sell dots are plotted on the historical charts of the respective stocks. This feature provides a visual representation of your investment activities and helps you track your entry and exit points in the market.

Key Features:

  • Buy/Sell Dots: Visual markers on historical charts indicating transaction points.

  • Transaction History: Maintain a record of your buy and sell activities.

Holdings Page

You also have access to a Holdings page, which offers a detailed overview of your portfolio's performance. This page allows you to see day-to-day changes in your portfolio, review transactions you have entered, and analyze various metrics such as cost basis, market value, cost per share, and much more.

Key Features:

  • Day Changes: Monitor daily changes in your portfolio's value.

  • Transaction Review: Review all transactions you have entered.

  • Cost Basis: Analyze the cost basis of your investments.

Advanced Portfolios

For more sophisticated investment tracking, you can create advanced portfolios. These portfolios offer advanced tracking features such as calculating the internal rate of return (XIRR), tracking income earned, viewing net investment, analyzing diversification, and more. Advanced portfolios are designed for those who want detailed and comprehensive analysis of their investment strategies.

Key Features:

  • XIRR Calculation: Determine the internal rate of return for your investments.

  • Income Tracking: Monitor income earned from your investments.

  • Net Investment: View the net amount you have invested in the portfolio.

Reusable Views for Insights

You can create and add reusable views to your portfolios, which provide valuable insights into the data within your portfolios. These views can be customized to display various metrics and information, helping you analyze your investments more effectively.

Key Features:

  • Customizable Views: Tailor the display to show relevant metrics.

  • Data Insights: Gain a deeper understanding of your portfolio performance.
